Hiding Ninjas

The Termites' awesome game for the Retro memory Game Jam !

(be careful, the sound level can be very very high... take care of your ears...)
(also, be careful, this game can be very fun, take care of your health, don't play excessively) 

Hiding Ninjas is a multiplayer game with one host and (up to) 5 other players. There're two teams : the ninjas and the navy seals.

The navy seals have to steal the secret parchment that holds the secret of life hidden into one of the dojos and the ninjas have to defend it. The game is over when a full team is eliminated or if the secret parchment is dropped into the drop zone. The navy seals can shoot and ninjas can cut with a kunai and hide when they're close to some walls.

WASD/ZQSD - Left joystick : Move your character

E/F - Y : Grab the secret item

Space - A : Jump

Left click - Right trigger : Attack/Fire

Right click - Left trigger : Aim

Left shift - Left button : Sprint

Left ctrl - B : Crouch / Slow

------ How to host a new game? ------

There're two ways of creating a game: 

Ports opening way:

1 - Redirect the 7777 port (udp andd tcp) to your pc from you routeur's settings (you can find a lot of tutorials on the internet)   

2- Find your internet ip address (ip v4) (you can use https://www.whatismyip.com for example) 

3- Launch the game and click on "Host une partie" and share your ip address with your friends   

4- Your friends can now enter this ip address into the "ip du serveur" field and click on "Connexion"

 Hamachi way:

1- All the players will need Hamachi : download and install Hamachi then create or log into your account

2- The host player creates a new network and shares it with his friends in order to connect their Hamachi

3- You  can now follow from the step 3 of the other way using the hamachi network ip instead of the internet ip address into the "ip du serveur" field.

If you want to use another port to host a game, stay tuned for updates.

You may have discovered that the game is entirely in French. In order to allow you to enjoy the fun we put into this game, we are working on a language selection menu and all texts translated into English.

Le jeu génial des Termites pour la Retro memory Game Jam !

(attention, le niveau sonore peut être très très élevé... faites attention à vos oreilles...)

(attention aussi, ce jeu peut être très amusant, faites attention à votre santé, ne jouez pas de manière excessive) 

Hiding Ninjas est un jeu multijoueur avec un hôte et (jusqu'à) 5 autres joueurs. Il y a deux équipes : les ninjas et les Navy Seals.

Les  Navy Seals doivent voler le parchemin secret qui contient le secret de la vie caché dans l'un des dojos et les ninjas doivent le défendre. Le jeu se termine lorsqu'une équipe complète est éliminée ou si le parchemin secret tombe dans la zone de largage. Les Navy Seals peuvent tirer et les ninjas peuvent couper avec un kunai et se rendre invisible aux yeux de leurs ennemis lorsqu'ils sont près de certains murs.

WASD/ZQSD - Joystick gauche : Déplacez votre personnage.

E/F - Y : Attraper l'objet secret

Espace - A : Saut

Clic gauche - Gâchette droite : Attaque/Tir

Clic droit - Gâchette gauche : Viser

Shift gauche - Bouton gauche : Sprint

Ctrl gauche - B : Accroupi / Lent

------ Comment créer une partie ? ------

Deux solutions s'offrent à vous qui voulez créer une partie : 

Option ouverture des ports :

1 - Rediriger le port 7777 en udp et tcp vers votre pc dans les paramètres de votre box (plein de tutos sur internet en fonction de votre fournisseur) 

2- récupérer son adresse ip internet (par exemple grâce à https://mon-ip.io/) 

3- Lancer le jeu et cliquer sur "Host une partie" et partagez votre ip à vos amis 

4- Vos amis, eux, entrent cette ip dans le champ "ip du serveur" et cliquent sur "Connexion"

 Option Hamachi :

1- Il faut que tous les joueurs aient Hamachi donc : Télécharger et installer Hamachi puis créer ou connecter un compte 

2- Le joueur qui host crée un réseau et le partage à ses amis pour qu'ils connectent leur hamachi 

3- Suivre à partir de l'étape 3 de la première option en utilisant l'ip Hamachi du joueur qui host 

Si vous souhaitez utiliser un autre port pour host une partie, restez alertes des mises à jour.
